PURPOSE:To provide a safety pillow with high safety in a brief time by cooling blow-molded synthetic resin with coolant supplied to a stay formed by a hollow pipe under a method to form a safety pillow blow-molded in one piece with a stay using synthetic resin. CONSTITUTION:A stay 11 consisting of a hollow metal pipe formed in an inversed U shape is arranged between a blow-molded synthetic resin 12 in a soft condition and a belt-shaped synthetic resin 13, and the entire arrangement is blow-molded in dies. As a result, a molded synthetic resin product 14 is integrated with the stay 11 into an integral body. After this procedure, a coolant 15 such as water is injected into the hollow part of the stay 11 through an injection pipe 17 of a circulating pump 16 and is recycled from a recycling pipe 18. This procedure cools and cures the molded synthetic resin product 14 still in a soft condition. In this way, a molded synthetic resin product near the stay 11 in a safety pillow is cooled starting with the surroundings of the stay 11 and a safety pillow with high safety formed in an integral body is obtained in a brief time. |
