PURPOSE:To make the time for the actual room temperature to reach the desired value as short as possible and consequently contrive to improve the responsiveness by a method wherein a rotational frequency variable type compressor is kept at the predetermined higher rotational frequency at all times regardless of the temperature deviation between the room temperature and the desired value during the time ranging from the initial start of the titled device to the arrival of the actual room temperature at the desired value. CONSTITUTION:A first computing means 21 computes the temperature deviation between the room temperature and the desired value based upon the actual room temperature signal sent from a room temperature detecting menas 20 at initial start and the signal sent from a room temperature setting means 17. A first signal generating means 22 compares said temperature deviation with the predetermined value and zero. When the temperature deviation is equal to or larger than the predetermined value, the signal A corresponding to the maximum frequency is generated. When the temperature deviation is smaller than the predetermined value and larger than zero, the intermediate signal is generated, while when smaller than zero, the stop signal is generated. |
