PURPOSE:To prevent lowering of machining accuracy due to the offset of the wire electrode and also to facilitate threading of the wire electrode by combining the die guide in multiple tiers so that the shape of the guide bore will be approximately circular when the bore is observed in direction of the axis along the wire electrode. CONSTITUTION:The wire electrode 1 between a guide roller 4 and a conducting roller 11 is arranged so that it will be threaded between these rollers almost vertically, linearly and concentricly. Positioning of the electrode machined part 27 is carried out on both upper and lower parts of the material to be machined which is placed between nozzles 22, 23, by the upper and lower positioning guides 18, 19 which are fixed inside of the main bodies 12, 13 of the nozzles. Either one of the guides 17, 18 or both of them are constructed by combining three die guides in multiple tiers and each guide has a circular guide bore of the approximately same diameter. In this manner, lowering of machining accuracy is prevented and also wire electrode can be threaded easily. |
