摘要 PURPOSE:To eliminate the unblance of heating capacity between individual lamps by arranging oppositely a heat and light emitting lamp and a brightness detecting element, and controlling the supply of power to the lamp so that the output of said element may be regulated to a preset value. CONSTITUTION:A seed crystal is used as a lower side sample 505, and a sintered material having the same component as the seed crystal is used as an upper side sample 504. Heat and light emitting lamps 503a and 503b, which are arranged so that each light emitting part may be situated at focal points F1' and F3' of reflection mirror surfaces 502a and 502b of a reflection mirror 501, are lit to heat and melt the samples 505 and 504. The brightness of the lamps 503a and 503b is detected by brightness detecting elements 511a and 511b through windows 510a and 510b provided on the surface of the reflection mirror 501, and the signal is inputted to lamp controllers 513a and 513b through amplifier circuits 512a and 512b, and compared with a separately inputted set value of brightness. The supply of power to the lamps 503a and 503b is controlled so that said signal may coincide with the preset value of brightness, and a molten zone 508 is formed to grow the crystal.
