MODIFYING AGENT FOR ELECTRIC DISCHARGE MACHINING LIQUID

PURPOSE:To enhance as well finish machining speed as the processing stability by selecting a specific one of a plurality of interface activating agents, and allowing the discharge machining liquid to contain this selected one. CONSTITUTION:The discharge machining liquid used shall contain a liquid improving agent, which includes either or both of a nonion interface activating agent and an oil soluble derivative from succinic acid. This improvement agent is prepared by adding approx. 0.1-20 additive in proportion by weight to the 100 discharge machining liquid. Such an improvement agent thus prepared and adjusted is added in an amount equivalent to 1-20wt% to the machining liquid, which will provide a stabilized discharge machining.
