PURPOSE:To prevent wasteful consumption of a power, by a method wherein, only when a key switch is in a closed state, a door switch detects closing of a door, and the degree of pollution of the air in a car room exceeds a reference value, an air cleaner is operated. CONSTITUTION:With a key switch 10 turned ON, a normally-opened relay 11 is closed and a door switch 21 is in an OFF-state in which a door is closed, with a transistor 25 energized, an air pollution detector 28 is started to operate to output a voltage X in response to the degree of pollution of the air in the car room. When the voltage X exceeds a reference voltage Y, a comparator 29 outputs an H level signal, and transistor 31 is energized to close a normally-opened relay 32 to actuate an air cleaner 33. This enables efficient operation of the air cleaner as occasion demands, resulting in the possibility to prevent wasteful consumption of a power. |
