PURPOSE:To eliminate the changing-over of the rotational direction of a fan at cooling and heating and consequently enable to employ a cheap unidirectional rotation type fan by a structure wherein a wickless type heat pipe, which is pivotably supported at its center, is arranged in a ventilating air tunnel so as to pierce the partition plate of the tunnel. CONSTITUTION:A wickless type heat pipe 15 is aranged in a ventilating air tunnel 10, which is divided by a partition plate 11 into an air inflowing passage 12 and an air outflowing passage 13 in such a state that the heat pipe 15 pierces the partition wall 11 and the changing-over to/ from a position, in which one longitudinal end of the pipe 15 is higher than the other end, from/to the other position, in which said one end is lower than said other end, can be done at will. When cooling is intended during the summer (indicated at A in the attached figure), the heat pipe 15 is inclined so that heat transfer medium 26 collects itself at the end on the inflowing passage 12 side of the pipe 15. Under the conditions as mentioned above, hot air (d) flowing in the inflowing passage 12 from outdoors is absorbed its heat by the heat transfer medium 26 and is lowered its temperature and enters a room. On the other hand, when heating is intended during the winter (indicated at B in the attached figure), the heat pipe 15 is inclined so that the heat transfer medium 26 collects itself at the end on the outflowing passage 13 side of the pipe 15 or ar the end opposite to the end on the inflowing passage 12 side. Under the conditions as just mentioned above, hot air (d) flowing from indoors vaporizes the heat transfer medium 26 and the vaporized heat transfer medium 26 rises to the upper and (left end) of the heat pipe 15 in order or cold air (r) entering from outdoors to receive the heat retained in the vaporized medium and to raise tha temperature of its own and to enter the room. |
