<p>PURPOSE:To improve a high speed straight-drive stability as well as to aim at preventing an abnormal vibration from occurring, by making damping force in a damper unit in stalled in position between a tie rod and a car body so as to cause it to be reduced. CONSTITUTION:A damper unit 15 being variable in damping force is installed in position between a setting bracket 14 and a tie rod 9 at the lower part of a suspension tower 3. This damper unit 15 is provided with a reversible type step motor 16, which is used for making damping force in the damper unit 15 variable, at its one end in an axial direction, while a setting bracket 17 of the damper unit 15 doubling as a housing of the reversible type step motor 16 is locked to the setting bracket 14 at the side of the suspension tower 3, and a ringlike coupling part 18a installed in the tip end of a damper rod 18 extending in the axial direction from the other end of the damper unit 15 is coupled with the tie rod 9.</p> |
