PURPOSE:To realize both mass production and production of many types of goods in small quantity effectively, by providing a device whereby the perforating process, the clip insertion process and cutting process for the weather strip used in a car can be automized. CONSTITUTION:A guide rail 1 has a function to support the weather strip horizontally and also a function to guide the horizontal transfer of the weather strip in the lengthwise direction. The drill-type perforating device 4 ascends/descends upwards/downwards between two pressing legs of a clamp device 3 which exert a pressing force, and perforates the weather strip. A clip inserting device 6 holds a clip supplied from a clip supply device 5 and inserts the clip into the hole formed between the two pressing legs of the device 3. According to the construction, either mass production or production of many types of goods in small quantity can be executed effectively. |
