PURPOSE:To joint a rear upper panel to a main floor prior to attachment of a side body with the use of an automobile assembling device, by providing such an arrangement that the rear panel is positioned below (within) a rear fender. CONSTITUTION:In a stage of installing a rear upper panel, when a rear upper panel loader 13 comes to a stop at a position where the rear upper panel is installed, a jig 18 lowers so that the rear upper panel comes to a predetermined welding position with respect to a main floor 7. Then, industrial robots 8, 9 are driven so that the panel is welded to the main floor 7 by means of welding guns 10, 11. Therefore, the floor 7 to which the panel has been welded is transferred to the next side body installing stage where a panel inclining and pulling-back mechanism is driven. Thus, the panel may be jointed to the main floor 7 prior to the jointing of the side body. |
