PURPOSE:To obtain a small-sized device, through which a hemispherical resonator is adjusted easily, which has high mass productivity and cost thereof is low, by constituting the resonator by a reflecting film for resonance formed to the surface opposite to a laser active substance in the vicinity of the optical axis of a reflecting mirror for condensing beams and a reflecting film for resonance shaped to the end surface of the laser active substance. CONSTITUTION:The inner surface of a condenser 21 as a reflecting mirror for condensing beams is formed to a spherical surface shape, and a thin-film in gold is applied and shaped, thus forming a reflecting film 22 for condensing beams. An LED23 as a light source for excitation and a laser active substance 24 are disposed near the central position of a spherical surface on the optical axis of the surface of the reflecting mirror 22. The LED23 is fitted and fixed onto a heat-dissipating base 25 and opposed to the inner surface 22 of the reflecting mirror for condensing beams, and the laser crystal 24 is bonded and fastened onto the LED. One part of excitation beams radiated from the LED23 as the light source is injected to the laser material 24 through an adhesive layer 26 and a reflecting film 27 for resonance, thus resulting in laser excitation. Beams not absorbed are reflected by the reflecting film 22, and injected into the laser crystal 24 again and used for excitation. |
