<p>The inclination of the treatment drum described in the principal patent FR 69, 18108 is determined by the difference in height of the supports of the axles of the rollers and the self aligning bearing supporting the drum. The present addition permits the regulation of the inclination before the start of each treatment and during the treatment. The axles of the rollers on which the roller ring of the drum rests are carried by the free ends of a supporting stirrup the central branch of which carries the self aligning bearing. The stirrup is itself articulated around a horizontal axle traversing the two lateral branches. The angle of inclination w.r.t. the horizontal can be varied between 0 and 50 degrees so that the operating conditions can be adapted to suit the optimum treatment conditions.</p> |
