PURPOSE:To improve surface smoothness, flexibility, scratch and crack resistance by using a specified urethane resin of a coating layer made of an electron beamhardenable synthetic resin formed on a waterproof photographic printing paper support. CONSTITUTION:Both sides of a photographic printing paper support are coated with a synthetic resin, and one side of them contains >=15wt% white pigment. A urethane resin having C=C bonds is used as the binder of said coating layers, and polymerized and hardened by irradiation of electron beams. Said urethane resin is a reaction product obtained by reacting polyisocyanate (A), polyols (B) and a monomer (C) having an active H and a C=C bond. As the polyisocyanate (A), polyisocyanate composed essentially of aliphatic polyisocyanate and/ or alicyclic polyisocyanate is used. As the polyols (B), polyols contg. polytetramethlene ether glycol and/or polycaprolactone polyol are used. |
