PURPOSE:To obtain a composite material for making a resin magnet of excellent magnetic characteristics by heat-treating ferrite powder under specific conditions. CONSTITUTION:Powder of a magnet plambite type crystal structure compound which has a chemical formula of MOnFe2O3 (M is either one of Ba, Sr or Pb. n=5-6) and is finely ground after calcination is heated at the temperature of 800-1,100 deg.C for normalizing and after normalization, it is adjusted that the mean diameter of the grain is to become 1.2mum or more. The obtained ferrite powder is kneaded in resin by a normal method to make a composite material for a resin magnet of high magnetic characteristics. In this way, a resin magnet of BHmax 1.9 or more as a magnetic characteristic can be obtained using ferrite and can be used in a rotor, a stator, etc. of a small motor greatly contributing in automatic operation and control. |
