PURPOSE:To connect different levels smoothly and easily by changing the level of an input signal gradually at digital intervals at the transfer from a sound recording mode to the pause state or from the pause state to the sound recording mode. CONSTITUTION:In the sound recording mode set up by depressing a sound recording button 10e, an input signal from an input terminal 1 is set up to a level L1. When an automatic fading button 12 is depressed at a time t1 in the sound recording mode, a control circuit 8 attenuates the level of the input signal gradually at digital intervals. If the level of the input signal reaches a level L2 at a time t2, the control circuit 8 turns the mode to the pause state and returns the level of the input signal up to the level L1 instantaneously at a time t3. If the automatic fading button 12 is depressed at a time t4 in the pause state, the control circuit 8 attenuates the level of the input signal instantaneously down to the 2nd level L2, releases the pause state at a time t5 and then increases the level gradually at the digital intervals to return the level up to the level L1. |
