PURPOSE:To obtain stable performance at a frequency band between several hundreds kHz and several MHz by increasing the width of a support connection part more than the width of a main vibration part, increasing the thickness more than a thickness being 0.6 time the thickness of the main vibration part and decreasing the length of the support connection part less than two times the width of the main vibration part. CONSTITUTION:The vibrator consists of the main vibration part 15, the support connection parts 16a, 16b, supporting arms 17a, 17b and a support 18. The width W2 of the support connection parts 16a, 16b is larger than the width W1 of the main vibration part 15 and larger than 0.6 time the thickness T of the main vibration part 15. Moreover, the length L1 of the support connection parts 16a, 16b is decreased less than 2 times the W1. Through the constitution above, the longitudinal vibration type piezoelectric vibrator having less vibration energy leakage, excellent CI value and oscillated stably at a broad temperature range is obtained. |
