PURPOSE:To record a signal, which is inputted from the outside from the time point when paper feeding is started, by applying an initial voltage, which is higher than a rated voltage, to the heater of a heat pen only during the period from the time point when the feeding of the recording paper is started. CONSTITUTION:When a power source is turned ON, a pre-heating voltage Vr from a DC power source 19 is applied to a heater 7 of a heat pen through a switching contact point 15 of a relay 14 and a switching contact point 18 of a relay 17. When a switch 12 of a paper feeding motor 11 is turned ON, a switch 13 is closed and the relay 14 is actuated. At the same time, a relay 17 is operated during a specified time period T corresponding to the pulse width of a single-shot multivibrator 22. As a result, an initial voltage Vp, which is higher than a rated voltage is applied to the heater 7 from the DC power source 19. After the specified time period T, the relay 17 is recovered. Therefore, the rated voltage Vs is applied to the heater 7 from the DC power source 19. Thus, a signal, which is inputted from the outside from the time point when paper feeding is started, can be positively recorded. |
