<p>1,251,134. Winding lay-outs for dynamoelectric machines. GENERAL ELECTRIC CO. 1 July, 1969 [15 July, 1968], No. 33162/69. Heading H2A. In a polyphase four-pole winding in which each phase is arranged in four phase belts including three parallel circuits each circuit having a plurality of series-connected coils each having two coil sides, two of the phase belts each contain coil sides of only a single circuit. As shown in Fig. 1, in which only one phase is illustrated, phase belts A<SP>1</SP> and A<SP>1111</SP> contain the coil sides of circuits 1 and 3 only whilst phase belts A<SP>11</SP> and A<SP>111</SP> contain the coil sides of circuits 1 and 2, and 2 and 3 respectively. It is stated that the above arrangement permits a reduction in the number of jumper connections 13a, 13b and produces a more compact arrangement of these connections and the connection rings 14.</p> |
