<p>PURPOSE:To make it possible to collect dirty particles in air with good efficiency without using a high voltage power source by a simple inexpensive apparatus, by forming a filtering part by forming a brush like surface made of a dielectric material to the opposed surfaces of electrode plates. CONSTITUTION:The titled apparatus is constituted so that a filtering part 4 is provided in an exterior body 1 having an air inflow port 11 and an air outflow port 12 so as to be arranged along an air flowing direction and a pair of electrode plates 41, 41' opposed to each other, brush like surface 42, 42' formed to the opposed surfaces of the electrode plates and made of a dielectric material and a power source 44 connected to a pair of the above-mentioned electrode plates are provided. An electrostatic field is generated between fine gap spaces formed by the above-mentioned brush like surfaces and dirty particles mixed in air are efficiently collected by electrostatic action.</p> |
