PURPOSE:To aim at miniaturization in a device as well as simplification in operation, by locking a boat holding bar, which pierces a holding tube solidly installed in a vacuum envelope and consists of a form memory alloy, to the vacuum envelope, while installing an evaporating boat in one end of this holding bar, and heating and evaporating an evaporating source with laser and high frequency power sources. CONSTITUTION:On an input surface 2 of a vacuum envelope 1, an input phosphor layer 5 and a photo-emissive screen 6 are laminatedly formed on its Al base plate, and in order to form this photo-emissive screen 6, there is provided with an external lead-in mechanism 7 on a side wall of the envelope. This lead- in mechanism 7 consists of a holding tube 8 projectingly installed in the side wall of the envelope 1 and a boat holding bar 9 which is stuck fast to this holding tube 8 and its one end is situated on an almost tubular axis inside the envelope 1. An evaporating boat 10 is stuck fast to one end of the holding bar 9, and an evaporating source is housed inside this evaporating boat 10, while a power source is connected to the other end of the holding bar 9 whereby the evaporating source is heated and evaporated with both laser and high frequency sources, forming the photo-emissive screen 6 on the phosphor layer 5. |
