A device for storing a tool placed on the chosen side of a vehicle, for example a crane, is connected to the frame of the vehicle at the rear end of the frame and is removable. The hydraulics in the device are used for storage and the device has a frame (9) with two parallel legs (19), that are detachably connected with a pivoting support (12-14), on which the frame (9) by means of a piston cylinder (4) is movable in relation to the support (12-14) and are detachable from this when the tool is brought to rest on the ground.The frame of the tool (9) is connectable to attached casings (10, 11) on a U-shaped mid-part (1, 25, 27) whose legs are movable by means of a second piston cylinder (3) on a rotating table (12) with beams (1) designed in order to move the tool to a position outside of the vehicle, at which the rotating table (12) is influenced by a third piston cylinder device (7) in order to swing the tool out at 90 degrees to one side of the vehicle or the other, to which the device (7) has one of its ends (16) connected to an eccentric point of attachment (15) on the rotating table (12) and its other end, which is able to be connected to a primary or respectively secondary point of attachment (17) on the vehicle frame depending on the direction in which the tool shall be swung.
