PURPOSE:To enhance adhesion to an oily ink and its coating performance and to prevent offset and blocking phenomena of offset and blocking by incorporating specified amts. of an aq. dispersion composed essentially of an acrylic copolymer and dialkyl dibasic acid ester. CONSTITUTION:An aq. resin dispersion using an emusifier of shellac or an acrylic or malecic acid type copolymer having carboxyl groups contains dibasic acid diester represented by the general formula: R1OOC-X-COOR2 in which R1, R2 are each 1-8C alkyl, and X is the residue of an aliphatic or aromatic dibasic acid, in an amt. of >=1, preferably, 1-8, especially, 3-5wt% of the total weight of an aq. overcoating compsn. As a result, the obtained compsn. has not only high speed printability, but also instant posttreatability, and it can enhance efficiency of the posttreatment operation and luster and various kinds of resistances, etc. |
