A hair shampoo composition comprising an anionic hairwashing surfactant, from 0.1 to 5.0 weight percent of a cationic surfactant having the formula <IMAGE> wherein R1 is alkyl having 16 to 22 carbon atoms, R2 is methyl, ethyl or alkyl having from 16 to 22 carbon atoms, x is halogen, methylsulfate or ethylsulfate, and m and n each is a number of at least one and the sum of m plus n is from 5 to 30, and from 0.1 to 3.0 weight percent of oleic acid monoglyceride. |
