PURPOSE:To take a measurement easily regardless of whether a tunnel machine is in digging operation or stops by providing a tank provided in the tunnel machine, a tank provided to a starting shaft part, and a liquid level measuring means for the liquid charged in a hose connecting both tanks to each other. CONSTITUTION:A bracket 91 is provided in the tunnel machine 1 and a water tank 61 is fitted. The water tank 62 is held by a bracket 92 at the digging base point side of a tunnel, i.e. starting shaft part. The water tank 61 and water tank 62 are almost at the same height and connected mutually by the hose 7, and water is poured to make a communication. A pressure transmitter 8 detects the water level in the tank 61 and outputs a current corresponding to the head pressure of the water due to the difference in water level to a display meter 13. Variation in current value is converted into the upward/downward movement extent of the tunnel machine with a conversion table to know the upward/downward movement extent on the display meter 13 of a display board 10. |
