PURPOSE:To prevent degradation of the reflection factor of a reflective film and generation of pinholes to make it possible that an information recording carrier endures the use in a high-temperature and high-humidity environment, by giving a reflective film protecting material, which has an ionization tendency higher than that of the reflective film, to the reflective film. CONSTITUTION:A reflective film 12 for reflection of light is laminated on a transparent base material 11 in accordance with the rugged surface, and a reflective film protecting material 13 is laminated on the reflective film 12. A material having an ionization tendency higher than that of the reflective film 12, for example, magnesium or an inorganic material including magnesium is used as the protecting material 13 for the purpose of preventing chemical change of the reflective film 12. A protecting film 14 which protects the reflected film and an information recording part and consists of a resin coating or the like is laminated on the protecting material 13. Thus, even if the reflective film 12 and the protecting material 13 are impregnated with water or oxygen, the magnesium layer acts as a sacrificial anode to have the electric corrosion resisting effect of the reflective film 12. |
