PURPOSE:To execute a fixation of a good image quality having no image contamination caused by an offset toner, by covering a pressing member for pressing a cleaning web against the surface of a fixing roller, with a film of high thermal conductivity. CONSTITUTION:A web pressing roller 9 for pressing a cleaning web 6 against the surface of a fixing roller 1 is formed by providing a film whose thermal conductivity is high, for instance, a film 9b of aluminum foil on the circumference of a body 9a consisting of a silicon sponge, etc. In this way, a storage heat is prevented and a diffusion of heat is improved. Accordingly, at the time of standby, an offset toner adhering to the web from the fixing roller 1 at a nip part is remelted and becomes a hot offset toner, and it adheres to the surface of the fixing roller only in a small area contacting to the fixing roller, and the toner of the web side is not remelted, and held in a state sdhering to the web. Accordingly, after the standby, even if a pair of rollers start a rotation, the toner adhering to the web is not peeled off from the web, and fixation of an image of high quality can be executed. |
