PURPOSE:To make the thickness of silver peroxide plate uniform by adding a water soluble organic substance to purified water when purified water and silver peroxide powder are mixed. CONSTITUTION:Soluble starch is added to purified water and the mixture solution is heated to around 80 deg.C with stirring to obtain clear starch solution. Silver oxide powder slurry is prepared by using the starch solution in a usual process, the slurry is poured in a frame, and filtered to form a silver oxide cake 6. The silver oxide cake 6 is sintered, then formation is applied to the cake to produce a silver peroxide plate. By this process, a plate having a desired dimension and uniform thickness is steadily produced. |
