PURPOSE:To make a list of members and retrieve a name in it by reading information given to a card directly and processing the information. CONSTITUTION:Information on the top surface of a card is printed on the reverse surface as a bar code. The bar code 111 on the card 11 is read by a bar code reader 12 having five parallel read parts and inputted as a binary code in the input buffer 131 of a computer 13. The computer 13 when information is already written in a memory 14 compares the information with the input information and writes it in the memory 14 in, for example, the order of the Japanese syllabary. Then, card information stored in the memory 14 is accessed by operating a keyboard 15 and displayed on a CRT16 or printed out on a printer 17. |
