PURPOSE:To inform a user of that a recording and reproducing device performs recording/reproducing, by providing a discriminating means, which discriminates whether an information signal is recorded/reproduced or not, and a display means which displays execution of recording/reproducing. CONSTITUTION:When a program for automatic reproducing or the like is inputted from an input part 11, its information signal is recorded on a track for information signal recording of a magnetic disc A. At this time, if a source program of a microcomputer 10 judges that the command from the input part is recording of the information signal, execution of recording is displayed with an indicator lamp for display of information signal recording and reproducing. When it is judged that recording is terminated, the indicator lamp is extinguished. In such a way, the reproducing is also executed. The output signal for the indicator lamp (LED21) of the microcomputer 10 is connected to the input of an inverter 22. |
