PURPOSE:To obtain a titled photosensitive body having high photosensitivity up to the near IR region and superior stability, etc., by forming an electrostatic charge generating layer made of bis(dithio-alpha-diketone) metal complex on a conductive substrate, and forming a charge transfer layer on said layer. CONSTITUTION:A charge generating layer formed on a conductive substrate of aluminum or the like by the vacuum evaporation deposition method or the like is made of bis(dithio-alpha-diketone) metal complex represented by the formula in which R, R' are each phenyl, alkyl, alkoxy, or cyano; M is an ion of a metal such as Ni, Pd, or Pt. A charge transfer layer made of a charge transfer material, such as poly-N-vinylcarbazole, is formed on said layer to obtain an intended laminate type electrophotographic sensitive body. The metal complex of the formula is embodied by bis(diphenyldithio-alpha-diketone) Ni, bis(diphenyldithio-alpha- diketone) Pt, etc. |
