PURPOSE:To digitize blocking objectively by representing maximum friction stress between film surfaces when a blocking state is broken by twisting them in the opposite rotational directions as a torque value. CONSTITUTION:A sample, i.e. test-piece obtained by cutting a folded tubulr film to a proper size is fitted onto a sample fitting board 1. It is balanced with a balance weight 8, a constant load 9 is placed, and the side of the sample fitting board 2 is lowered to fix the test-piece on the sample fitting surface. An electric motor is switched on to rotate the sample fitting board 2. While the film test-piece is placed in the blocking state by the rotation of the sample fitting board 2, the sample fitting board 1 rotates simultaneously and a torque gauge operates to indicate a torque value. When the film test-piece exits from the blocking state to have an opening, the torque gauge is reset to the zero position and a relay operates at the same time. The maximum torque value when the blocking state is broken is read on a dial board with a discarded pointer 11. |
