PURPOSE:To simplify the winding work as well as to contrive reduction in magnetic reluctance and reinforcement in mounting by a method wherein the area of magnetic path of junction face on the split magnetic core of an annular magnetic core consisting of soft magnetic material which is divided in radial direction, is made larger than the magnetic cross sectional area of other ring-shaped part. CONSTITUTION:The area of junction face 13 on a split magnetic core, i.e., the cross-sectional area of the magnetic path on the junction face of the split magnetic core, is formed larger than the area of the magnetic path cross section 14 of the other part of the ring-shaped magnetic core. Also, the size 15 of the junction face 13 including its outside part and the thickness 18 of the magnetic core are set up in such a manner that they will become larger than the maximum outside diameter and the thickness of the winding when the winding is performed on the part other than the junction face 13 of split magnetic core of the ring-shaped magnetic core. Also, the outside face 19 of the split junction face 13 and the bottom face 20 of the part which is formed thicker than the other part are formed flatly, and using either of the above-mentioned part, the titled choke coil can be mounted and adhered to a printed substrate. At this time, the outside part of the winding does not come in contact with the printed substrate. Also, the magnetic reluctance between the split faces when the split faces are put together is made smaller in reverse proportion to the enlarged magnetic path area, thereby enabling to reduce the leakage of magnetic flux.
