PURPOSE:To provide a thermoplastic resin compsn. having good flow processability and excellent resistance to heat and impact, consisting of a specified copolymer and a multi-layer structure acrylic copolymer. CONSTITUTION:The titled resin compsn. consists of 1-99% copolymer (A) composed of 50-80% methyl methacrylate, 1-25% alpha-methylstyrene and 1-25% maleic anhydride and 1-99% multi-layer structure acrylic copolymer (B) obtd. by a three-stage reaction comprising a step (a) of polymerizing 5-50pts. methyl methacrylate or styrene, a step (b) of polymerizing 50-95%pts. monomer mixture consisting of 90-99.5% 1-8C alkyl acrylate and 10-0.5% polyfunctional monomer contg. at least two copolymerizable carbon-to-carbon double bonds in the presence of the polymer formed in the step (a) and a step (c) of polymerizing 10-1,000pts. methyl methacrylate or styrene monomer in the presence of the polymers formed in the steps (a) and (b). |
