PURPOSE:To count accurately the number of cards regardless of the type of the card and to sort the counted cards and uncounted cards by shifting cards one by one without injuring the surface of cards and counting these cards during their shifts. CONSTITUTION:A hopper 20 is provided to the main body 10 of a card counter to store cards to be counted, and the stored cards are pressed toward the right by a pressing member 30. This member 30 is attached to a holding member 31 with a rotary play secured in the horizontal direction. Then the member 31 is put into a groove 21 formed to the bottom surface 20a of the hopper 20 and then fixed to a drive rope 32. The member 31 is then attached movably to a shift guide 33 by means of three rolls 34. While the rope 32 is extend to the pulleys 35 set at both ends of the guide 33 and wound plural times round a rotary member 36 to be coupled directly to a drive motor 38 via a coil spring 37. Then the moving cards are counted accurately by a counter provided at a control part. The counted cards and uncounted cards are sorted respectively. |
