<p>PURPOSE:To prevent the mutual interference between carburettors by a method wherein the inlet port of one cylinder is communicated with a crank chamber through a suction port, opened and closed by a piston, while the inlet port of the other cylinder is provided at the side of a crank case. CONSTITUTION:Inlet ports 25a, 25b are provided at the cylinder mounting protuberance 15 of the crank 14 at the side of a force cylinder 16 so as to be crank chamber reed valve suction system, in which suction air is introduced into the crank chamber 27 directly, while the inlet ports 26a, of the aft cylinder 18 are provided on the front surface of the cylinder so as to be piston reed valve suction system. According to this method, distances between corresponding crank shafts 21, 22 and the inlet ports 25a, 26b as well as the inlet ports 26a, 26b are different in each cylinders 16, 18 while the opening directions of the inlet ports 25a, 25b, 26a, 26b will never be opposed each other in a space 36. The locations of the carburettors 37, 37 are deviated into fore and aft in the pace 36 between the cylinders 16, 18 therefore, the mutual contact and interference between the carburettors 37, 37 may be prevented.</p> |
