PURPOSE:To obtain casting nylon stock having excellent wear resistance, self- lubricating properties, mechanical strength by a method wherein polymeric lactam liquid is cast into a metallic mold kept at a desired temperature, polymerized promptly and peeled naturally from the mold. CONSTITUTION:Polymeric lactam liquid such as anhydrous epsilon-caprolactam etc. is cast into a metallic mold kept focedly by heat medium at 130-150 deg.C and polymeric molding of lactam is carried out non-adiabatically in the above- mentioned metallic mold. The cast member is peeled naturally and throughly from the surface of the above-mentioned metallic mold to obtain cast nylon stock with a thickness 2-20mm. at a high speed. EFFECT:Slidable material applied widely for the industrial purpose. |
