The present invention relates to a device for positioning a terminal section of an optical fibre along three reference axes. This device comprises a support 12, a member 10 for holding the terminal section of the optical fibre 11 and movable members essentially constituted by a first eccentric bush 13 and a second eccentric bush 14 which are housed inside a fixed sleeve 27. Two control levers 16 and 17 enable the bushes 13 and 14 to be rotated respectively about their parallel axes. A nut 31 enables a cylindrical support 29, which carries the member 10 for holding the optical fibre, to move axially. A centring element 15, composed of three cylindrical rods, is mounted at the end of the holding member 10. This device permits the holding member 10 to undergo micro-movements along three perpendicular axes. <IMAGE>
