<p>In a flexible magnetic foil (1) for therapeutic purposes made of a rubber-like flexible plastic in which permanently magnetic ferrite particles are embedded, the magnetised poles (2, 3) have different pole widths and/or different polar distances (a1, a2). The poles having a small pole width (2) and a small polar distance (a1) and the poles having a large pole width (3) and a large polar distance (a2) may be present on the foil (1) in varying distribution and in arbitrary numbers. For better adaptability of the foil (1) to the body part to be treated the foil may be provided with grooves (6). In order to retain or reflect body heat the foil may be provided with a metallic coating (7) at least on one surface. The foil has the advantage that it is universally applicable because it possesses therapeutic effects on the surface and the depth. <IMAGE></p> |
