<p>PURPOSE:To interpret an imperative sentence, etc. into an easy and natural sentence by using a means which discriminates the meaning of the marks such as a question mark, etc. and therefore interpreting the meaning of the mark according to the result of discrimination of said means. CONSTITUTION:The signals corresponding to operations of various types of keys are delivered through a key input control part 11 of an electronic interpreter and supplied to a searching circuit 13 in the form of the data on one word. When a signal (a) is delivered from the part 11 during operation of a section key or a question key, the word data is supplied to a dictionary memory 14 to search the words for interpretation. The data on the word for interpretation given from the circuit 13 is applied to an input stack 15. At the same time, the word data ''DESUKA'' corresponding to a question mark is supplied to an output stack 17 via a multiplexer 16. While the address data given from a pointer 19 is given to stacks 15 and 17 respectively. Then the outputs of stacks 15 and 17 are processed by a multiplexer 20 to interpret the meaning of the mark. Then an easy and natural sentence is obtained and supplied to a display control part 21.</p> |
