PURPOSE:To reduce the size of a photoelectric conversion module without incrasing the power consumption by allowing light transmission sides of plural optical branching elements for a center station to abut on light emitting elements respectively, and also bundling branching terminal parts of a photodetection side in abutting relation with one photodetecting element. CONSTITUTION:Light emitting elements 47-50 are provided corresponding to one-side terminals of optical branching elements 43-46, so optical coupling efficiency is improved. The other-side terminals of the branching elements 43-46 are bundled to abut on the photodetecting element 51. Those parts are fixed in one body with resin 52, wherein holes 53-56 for inserting plugs of optical fibers are formed. The light emitting elements 47-50 are photodetecting element 51 are provided with terminals 58 respectively. Thus, light transmission sides of the optical branching elements 43-46 abut on the light emitting elements 47-50 individually, and photodetection side terminals 43-46 are bundled and abut on the one photodetecting element 51 to reduce the size of the photoelectric conversion module without increasing the power consumption; and the space of the center station is reduced to reduce the cost of facilities. |
