PURPOSE:To detect a displacement of a specimen with high accuracy, by furnishing the first window for changing light quantity corresponding to the displacement of the specimen and comparing this quantity obtained from this window with the refference light signal of constant light quantity. CONSTITUTION:A displacement detector is referred to as an apparatus with which a displacement of a specimen 2 is detected with optical fibers 10, 11, 17, 18 and constructed by detecting block 3, light source 12, photoelectricity convertors 19, 20, computing circuit 21, etc. The detecting block 3 penetrates a guide hole formed in a main body 4 and it is provided with a slit board 5 moving in accompaniment with the displacement of the specimen 2. On the slit board the first window 13 with unconstant slit widths and the second window 14 with constant slit widths are provided, and the first windown 13 converts light from the light source 12 into the quantity corresponding to the displacement of the specimen 2, and the second window 14 converts light from the source into the reference light signal of constant light quantity. These two light signals are supplied to the computing circuit 21 through photoelectric convertors 19, 20 and the displacement of the specimen is calculated there. |
