DC POWER SOURCE DEVICE FOR ARC WELDING

PURPOSE:To eliminate the need for a costly converter and to reduce cost by digitizing the setting of a welding current value and voltage value with simple circuit constitution. CONSTITUTION:A power source device is constituted of an input circuit 14 for a set value which sets welding output, an arithmetic circuit 12 which calculates the set signal and an output control circuit 16 which outputs the calculated result thereof and controls a control element 18 for welding voltage and a control element 17 for current. The digital signal obtd. by decreasing the set value by a factor of 1/2 then converting the same to a binary number in the case of setting the average value of the welding current value and the digital signal obtd. by increasing the set value by a factor of 10 then decreasing the same by a factor of 1/2 and converting the same to a binary number in the case of setting the average value of the welding voltage value are respectively taken into the device from the outside by the circuit 14. The signals are calculated in the circuit 12 and the results thereof are outputted to the circuit 16, by which the welding current value and the voltage value are controlled.
