摘要 In ink-jet printing units having the smallest outlet nozzles required for producing very small ink droplets, there is a risk of these nozzles becoming blocked by foreign bodies. This blocking can also easily occur due to ink having dried in the nozzles or having decomposed due to ageing. Furthermore, in ink-jet print heads, entry of air bubbles must be avoided since these prevent ejection of ink droplets from the outlet nozzles. The risk of the outlet nozzles becoming blocked is even greater in ink-jet print heads having a plurality of ink chambers which contain inks of different colours. The invention is based on the object of providing a device for removing particles of dirt or air from ink-jet print heads producing multi-colour recordings, which device has a simple construction, is simple to operate, and is suitable for inexpensive mass products. This object is achieved in that the supply hoses 17, 18, 19, which connect the ink-jet print heads to ink supply containers 14, 15, 16 in terms of flow, rest with one portion 25, 26, 27, 28 in each case on an inside wall 29 of a pump housing 30, arranged parallel to one another in the longitudinal direction.
