PURPOSE:To eliminate effects of an oscillation to an optical apparatus, by installing on an oscillating body, compass, clinometer, optical apparatus provided with swivelling means and computing means, obtaining swivelling correcting value from an oscillating angle and correcting a swivelling value of an optical apparatus. CONSTITUTION:An oscillation stabilizer 100 is referred to as an apparatus enabling an optical apparatus, such as a sighting telescope, etc. installed on an oscillating body, such as a ship, a continuous sighting of an object disregarding its oscillating motion, and it is composed of compass (r), oscillation angle measuring means (h), computing means cp mounted on the oscillating body. The computing means cp determines a swivelling correction value DELTAepsilon2 based upon the oscillation angles x, psi computed from the oscillating angle computing means. The optical apparatus is provided with the swivelling means and based upon said correction value, it corrects its swivelling value and collects the same objects prior to the oscillating motion in the middle of the visual field. The computing means 100 can be constructed also with a mechanical means in place of an electronic circuit means. |
