PURPOSE:To prevent corrosion of base metals and leakage of a fluid by subjecting the liner metals fitted tightly to the inside surfaces of cylindrical base metals to butt welding then welding the connecting ring covering the packing material which packs the inside of the annular recess in the remaining part and the base metals. CONSTITUTION:A set of lining pipes 1 are butted while liner metals 3 are projected from the connecting ends of base metals 2 and both liner metals 3 are welded W1. A packing material M consisting of a low melting alloy is then packed in the annular recess G between both liner metals 3 and both metals 2. The material M is covered with a connecting ring 5 consisting of the same material as the metals 2. The ring 5 and both base metals 2 are respectively welded. |
