PURPOSE:to provide a resource-saving, preservable granular food additive having improved nutrient value and useful for the preparation of biscuit, boiled laver in soy, etc., by roasting raw bran. CONSTITUTION:The second and the third batch bran obtained by the mechanical polishing of rice is roasted in an oven etc. to an extent that about 10% of the whole bran is parched. The obtained bran powder is granulated and dried in e.g. a fluidized bed drier while being sprayed with a binder, etc. to obtain the objective granular food additive. |
