PURPOSE:To obtain a nutrient agent free from acidulous taste, agreeable to take, and containing only a small amount of sweetener, by adding a basic amino acid to a nutrient agent containing ascorbic acid. CONSTITUTION:The objective nutrient agent free from acidulous taste can be produced by mixing ascorbic acid with preferably equimolar amount of at least one basic amino acid such as arginine, histidine, etc., thereby effecting the chemical bonding of the amino acid with ascorbic acid. |
