PURPOSE:To provide a lipid-metabolizing food containing crude AMACHAZURU (Gynostemma pentaphyllum Makino) extracted from AMACHAZURU, and having obesity suppressing and lipid suppressing effect. CONSTITUTION:AMACHAZURU is usually dried and pulverized, and extracted with water, etc., and the crude AMACHAZURU saponin is separated from the extract by using e.g. an adsorbent resin, etc. The objective lipid-metabolizing food can be prepared by adding the above crude AMACHAZURU saponin to an arbitrary food. |
