<p>PURPOSE:To make it possible to simplify the change-over between face-up and face-down as necessary, by providing a member for loading sheets with one surface side of them facing up and a member for loading sheets with the other surface side of them facing up, and as well by switchingably introducing the sheets to both members. CONSTITUTION:In order to set up a face-up position, that is, in order to set a movable tray 12 at the position 3, the operator releases the engagement between the movable tray 12 and an upper guide 22, and then rotates the same counterclockwise about a hinge 14 as a center until stoppers 18, 19 abuts against each other. When a projecting piece of the movable tray 12 depresses a microswitch, no electrical power is fed to a motor so that a paper transfer unit 30 will not operate. Therefore, the movable tray 12 extends horizontally, and leaf springs 13 extend straight so that they are hidden in troughes between ridges 151 through 154, 171 through 174 formed on both trays 11, 12. Accordingly, papers P are fed by discharge rollers 5, thereby they are smoothly and sequentially piled up one upon another on trays 11, 12, in their face-up condition.</p> |
