PURPOSE:To minimize the rising height of the starting end section in winding of a wire, by checking the wire in a check hole with the starting end section thereof being made in a bent shape. CONSTITUTION:The starting end section 1' in winding of a wire 1 is bent in a substantially Z-like shape. A bent shaft 9 is pulled out, and a spool 2 is rotated in the same clockwise direction as that of the bent shaft. The leading end of the starting end section 1' in winding comes off from a stationary slit 10 when the spool 2 is started to rotate, and abuts against a retainer spring member so that the stepped section (c) between bent points (a, b) is resiliently pressed against the inner surface of a check hole 5. With the rotation of the spool being continuously sustained, the stepped section (c) rotate about the check hole 5 as a fulcrum while it is pressed against the check hole 5, to retract the retainer spring member 11, and then comes off from the retainer spring 11 so that the leading end abuts against the inner peripheral surface of a winding drum 3. Thereby, the starting end section 1' in winding, being left as it stands, is checked such that it is laid along the inner and outer surfaces of the check hole 5, and then the orderly winding of the wire onto the winding drum 3 is initiated. |
